PURPOSE OF THE WEBSITE

This website has been designed as a useful resource for my instructing attorneys, outlining how briefs should be prepared, guidelines for diary management, and the framework for my fee structure. Please utilize it to ensure that our interactions are as productive and successful as possible.

Rest assured, while professional rules prohibit advertisement, the motive here is simple: to foster a better working relationship with my instructing attorneys and provide valuable information that can lead to superior legal outcomes. Together, we can make every brief, every interaction, and every instruction count.

RESERVATION FEES

Reservation fees are applied in accordance with the following sliding scale:

1. If the case is settled or postponed on or within five (5) court days prior to the date of the hearing, the full agreed day fee is chargeable.
2. If settled or postponed between five (5) court days and ten (10) days prior to the hearing, two-thirds of the agreed day fee is applicable.
3. If the case is settled or postponed between ten (10) days and twenty-one (21) days prior to the hearing, one-half of the agreed day fee will be charged.

Please note the distinction between normal and court days above.

FEE STRUCTURE

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, my standard rates will apply. VAT is applicable. Fees are subject to change annually on the 01st of March

As is customary, all necessary expenses, including but not limited to transportation, flights, and accommodation, should be disbursed separately.

Payment for any invoices I issue is expected within 30 days of the invoice date.

As is customary, the instructing counsel will bear responsibility for the payment of my fees and disbursements. In line with this arrangement, I expect the instructing counsel to hold adequate funds in trust to cover my fees and related expenses.
